Three weeks till opening with a brand that was dragging its feet. RBH Management knew there was something missing from the brand identity of The Avenue, the latest addition to Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh West Hotel. That something? Fore.
We were given the brief of building a visual language that translated the cool vibe that The Avenue had in spades but just hadn’t been unearthed yet.
Our first stop on the journey was to hit The Avenue. The name held huge meaning, so we went back to basics and used this as our starting point. After all, life’s a journey, not a destination and you’re bound to stop at an Avenue along the way!
We incorporated the traditional straight line of an avenue – as seen on a map – into the logo and wider brand. It was key that the branding incorporated a fresh and funky vibe, exactly the place you’d want to head to after a long day. So, our creative team worked on creating a quirky and approachable brand identity that made The Avenue a stop you couldn’t resist.
We helped The Avenue finally arrive at its brand destination and dished up all of the collateral it needed to stand out.
